It’s A Clean Sweep!
For the second year in a row, dhg Communications has swept the interactive division of the Iowa Motion Picture Association’s annual awards. Earning Awards of Merit were interactive CD projects that we created for Schaal Heating and Cooling and the Iowa 4-H Center. An Award of Excellence was presented to dhg Communications and Lessing Flynn for a DVD project for Vermeer.
According to Greg Wilde, Vice President of Business Development at dhg Communications, “This is a great honor. Winning an award is special, taking home all of them in a category is a testament to the relationship that we develop with each of our clients and the quality products we provide.”
In 2006 dhg Communications took home a total of five awards in the interactive category, with an Award of Excellence for their work with the Heartland Brick Council on their Interactive Planner’s Toolkit.
When asked for comment on the two year run, President and CEO of dhg Communications Dennis Goering said, “It’s wonderful to be recognized for the hard work and creativity that goes into all of our interactive projects. Whether it’s CD’s, DVD’s or authoring for the web, a client’s message can be packaged and delivered in a variety of new and exciting ways. At dhg Communications we continue to provide innovative solutions for our clients needs.”

“Brick the Right Choice” set for Midwest AIA Tour
dhg Communications recently finished construction and integration of a state-of-the-art trade show booth for the Heartland Brick Council. The booth showcases both the financial and aesthetic benefits of building or remodeling with brick by utilizing more than nine points on interest throughout the impressive 40' x 20' booth. An 8' projection system, 7 large HD Video displays, and 3 interactive HD kiosks show off the content dhg Communications produced entirely in High Definition.
The "Brick The Right Choice" booth will be touring American Institute of Architects (AIA) shows throughout the Midwest starting September in hopes of wowing architects and builders with the impressive exhibit and useful information. With an appearance by Robin Hartl ("Hometime", "Little Giant Ladder Systems"), spectators learn that brick, the ultimate home building material, is surprisingly affordable and a viable option.
